Austin Johnson, 30 years old of Lizton, IN, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015.

He was born November 20, 1984 in Greer, SC, son of Toni Gilstrap.

Austin loved music, playing guitar and being with his boys. He served his country in the U.S. Army with two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan and was currently stationed with the 316th Psy-Ops unit at Grissom Air Force Base.

In addition to his wife, Rachel (Berg) Johnson, he is survived by his sons, Isaac Johnson, Wyatt Johnson and Brody Johnson all of Lizton, his mother, Toni Gilstrap, sisters, Ashley (Jeremy) Wright and Amanda Johnson both of Greenville, SC and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at Porter Funeral Home in Jamestown, Indiana from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015. A service will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana, where Austin will be laid to rest.
