Angela D. Gardner, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2025, at the age of 65. Born November 23, 1959, Angela dedicated her life to caring for others both personally and professionally.

Angela worked in the medical field for more than 30 years, spending over two decades in the Emergency Room, where her skill, compassion, and calm presence brought comfort to countless patients and families. Her dedication to healing and helping others was matched only by the love she gave to those closest to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Young, and her brother, Kenny Young. Angela is survived by her loving sister, Stacey Davidson; her cherished daughter, Heather Bishop; her treasured granddaughter, Addison Bishop; her chosen granddaughter, Kamie Gardner; and two chosen great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Angela's legacy is one of kindness, strength, and quiet generosity. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church, 3860 East Main Street, in Danville, Indiana. A celebration of life will follow, with location details to be announced. In keeping with Angela's last wishes, family and friends are encouraged to gather, share joyful stories, and wear pink—her favorite color—in her honor. Porter & Hunt Funeral Home and Crematory in Jamestown has been entrusted with her care.
